Na degustação de Setembro de 2019 da Confraria do Amarante, foi realizado um painel com 7 Pauillac Grand Cru Classé. O resultado foi o seguinte:

Comentários: Surpreendentemente, os 2 melhores colocados foram o Ch. Pichon-Lalande 1996 e o Ch. Pichon-Lalande 1985, ambos na frente do Ch. Lafite-Rothschild 1982. E outra surpresa foi o Ch. Lafite-Rothschild 2004 ter se posicionado entre os 2 últimos.
